Who should participate?
This webinar is primarily aimed at students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers who want to learn how to create academic documents using LaTeX and Overleaf. No previous experience with LaTeX is required.
What topics will be covered?
LaTeX is widely used for scientific and academic writing, particularly for documents containing equations, references, tables, and figures. This practical webinar introduces the fundamentals of LaTeX and demonstrates how Overleaf can support individual and collaborative research writing. Key topics will include:
- Creating and formatting a LaTeX document in Overleaf
- Adding equations, figures, tables, citations, and bibliographies
- Collaborating with supervisors and co-authors
- Using Overleaf AI tools, including AI Assistant, Error Assist, Citation Reviewer, and academic language suggestions
- Evaluating AI-generated text, code, and references responsibly
The webinar will be conducted using ZOOM software.
